World Sepsis Day 2017

2017 marks 15 years since the creation of the Surviving Sepsis Campaign, 10 years of the Sepsis Alliance and 5 years of World Sepsis Day, held annually on 13th September.

BioMed Central journals Critical CareJournal of Intensive CareScandinavian Journal of Trauma Resuscitation and Emergency MedicineAntimicrobial Resistance & Infection ControlAnnals of Clinical Microbiology and AntimicrobialsMicrobiomeBurns & TraumaBMC PediatricsMilitary Medical Research and BMC Infectious Diseases are all leading the way in making sepsis research available to a global audience.

To celebrate all that has been achieved in improving awareness, diagnosis and treatment of sepsis in this time, we present you with a collection of research articles, reviews, commentaries and editorials important to furthering sepsis research.
